In October 2019, House Food enrolled 10 women from 10 households to participate in the broiler outgrower program in Ugwolawo, Ofu local government area.Kogi state. 7 women qualified and were provided with the inputs–day old chicks, feed, vaccines and medications. They were also trained on how to properly care for the birds. In addition to the training, they continue to receive weekly visits from our field team who check on the health of the birds and provide ongoing technical support.
